Murder in the Institute
A curse on ancient mummy?
At ten o'clock last night a terrible
murder took place in the Institute of
Ethnology in Hamburg.
The police commission states that the
victim, the highly esteemed Professor
Albert Stueckrath, who moves in the best
circles, was found dead by a colleague
in his laboratory at ten o'clock.
From what we hear, the victim had been
investigating a mummy that was to be put
up for auction next Tuesday.
The mysterious element of the murder is
the fact that the type of linen cloth
with which the mummy was wrapped up.
When the paper went to press it was
still unknown what conclusions the
police draw from this fact.
The investigating inspector does not yet
have an explanation to the incident.
He is confident that he will soon
unravel the riddle, but warned against
conclusions.*
